A series of eight, one-hour webinars dedicated to the study of noise and the impact noise has on the communities surrounding Naval air stations. Each webinar is dedicated to a specific topic and delivered by experts in the field of noise science. At the end of each webinar, a panel of subject matter experts take turns answering participant questions during the Question and Answer period.
Semi-Annual Air Installation Compatible Use Zone (AICUZ) Webinar
Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Atlantic (NAVFAC Atlantic)
Twice per year, CPLOs (Community Planning and Liaison Officer) gather to learn more about their roles and responsibilities regarding Air Installation Compatible Use Zones, noise science, and present real-world case studies from around the country. Participants gather online from six time zones to share information and hear from experts in their field. The webinar event runs for two consecutive days and has successfully replaced the previous event format requiring all participants to travel to a single location for the seminar.
